Sywell Aerodrome, Northamptonshire

Sywell Aerodrome was the first Airport to have the HTEC HydraPOD installed. The automated fuelling system, dispensing mogas and avgas, replaced a Triscan Elite and accepts both Chip & PIN and a Sywell local account card.

The Aerodrome was founded 75 years ago and has remained in private ownership. It boasts one of the best general aviation airfields in the UK and is a mecca for club and private pilots. Its annual air display attracts large crowds and there is also an impressive museum, which preserves the heritage of the aerodrome from the early days of aviation through to the second world war and beyond.
