Freeport Marine were the first marina to have the HTEC HydraPOD installed. The system replaces an old Triscan Elite and accepts Chip & PIN, as well as the local Total Oil Jersey Island payment cards.

In a marine environment, such as the one at Freeport, HTEC recommend that the HydraPOD is housed inside a building in order to offer it some protection from the corrosive salt water atmosphere.

Freeport Marine wanted their existing hut to be re-used, and devised an ingenious self-closing door mechanism to keep the elements at bay.
