Standalone ANPR Solution for Petrol Forecourts

Forecourt Protect provides small to medium sized forecourts with the ability to secure themselves against drive-off fraud, using ANPR technology and HTEC's national CDONP Database.

The solution allows sites to monitor traffic on their forecourt and to identify, in real-time, known drive off offenders by capturing vehicle registrations details and checking them against HTEC's central host.

Functionality

After reading a vehicles registration, the system requests a central database check. The host responds back with a message which indicates whether the vehicle in question has previously been registered as a drive-off or non-payment.

The system then passes the response direct to a terminal located in the forecourt kiosk to determine the correct course of action, i.e. allow fueling to commence, warn the operator that the pump should not be activated etc. 

The Central Database records all ANPR readings with a location, date and time stamp.
